Annealed Glass & its usage

At Bear Glass NJ we store and sale upto 1 inch thick annealed glass. It is a commonly used glass for many applications like table top, windows, and office walls, among other applications. We can cut annealed glass in any shape as per your requirements. Not only cutting, we do all type of polishing and hole drilling. We can temper the final product to convert your annealed glass to a Tempered Safety Glass.

Keep in mind that annealed glass may also be referred to as non-tempered or float glass. Annealed glass is not as strong as tempered glass. So we do tempering.

Annealed or Float glass for Window

Annealed glass is a common choice for your residential windows. We can cut the glass to any required shape. use Single Strength glass which is 3/32” thick.

For larger windows, Double Strength, or 1/8” thick glass may be required. For extremely large residential window it may be necessary to use 5/32” or 3/16” thick glass to assure adequate wind-load resistance. You can find window glass of all thickness at Bear Glass NJ. Check our inventory list.
