Glue chipping is a 6 steps process. First roughen the glass surface, then create the hide glue mixture. Make sure that glue and water are properly mixed and the mixture is smooth. Now heat the mixture to 140-150° F. Next apply the mixture on the rough surface of the glass at approximately 1/16" thickness. Now let it cool and dry until hard. as it's get dried it get attached to the rough glass and the hardened hide glue will begin to shrink and crack off and the glass will be chipped away, and you get a unique designed glue chip glass.
